Carlyle Square is a mixed use development project located in Old Town Alexandria. The site plan integrates these functions with a variety of spaces from public to private use. The streetscape plan was developed by using the guidelines of Old Town and the Carlyle Development and functions as a public gathering space and offers an outdoor cafe setting. The interior courtyard provides a private oasis for residents. The space offers the amenities of a swimming pool, grill area as well as seating and lawn areas. An alley of trees leads to a tranquil fountain that offers sound and aesthetic to the courtyard. The site plan in general works to achieve the requirements of the development while providing a comfortable living environment for the residents of the complex.
