His educational background includes a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He has participated as a designer / planner in landscape architecture projects through all phases from conceptual master planning to detail development and construction. Recent projects include the South East Federal Center Streetscape and Stead Recreational Facility Park Renovation, both in Washington DC. Prior to Lee + Papa, Mr. Kruse worked for The Kane Group, a landscape architecture firm located in Arlington, Virginia.		Inspirations: My favorite place is Paley Park in Manhattan. It proves that small scale designs can be just as, if not more powerful than large scale ones. Reads: I alternate between fiction and nonfiction books. Stephen King is my favorite fiction writer. I just finished Freakonomics which was quite interesting. Hobbies: I consider myself an amateur film critic. I love to play, watch, or discuss basketball. I also host a National Corndog Day party every march.
