Kwangbin Lee / Associate Kwangbin (Bin) a bright and talented associate, brings to Lee + Papa and Associates, Inc. over 10 years of experience in international landscape designing and planning. His educational background includes a master's in landscape architecture from Seoul National University. In his professional career prior to joining our team, he worked on numerous design projects which includes: an IFLA Design Award winners, Jong-ro Revitalization Plan; Shiwha Wild Bird Park Plan; and Eunyung New Town Master Plan, the latter two both won First Prize. Bin's recent international experience helped to expand the firm with projects in Almaty, Kazakhstan and the 1000 acre master plan for RAK Campus in Ras al Khaimah, UAE. At Lee+Papa, he has participated as both a designer and planner in projects through all phases from conceptual master planning to construction. Mr. Lee's recent projects include: Lot 31, a most prominent project which will complete the heart of Bethesda, Maryland; and Building 202, at the South East Federal Center, which will set a new standard in sustainability and innovative adaptive reuse of a waterfront historic factory into "one-of-a-kind" condominiums. |
Inspirations: Fine arts (mainly modern era) and music (mainly jazz, especially Bill Evans) Reads: I like to read Jean-Jacques SempÈës short stories and illustration. Hobbies: Riding motorcycle and playing guitar. |
