Benjamin Tauber / Benjamin Tauber is an associate with Lee+Papa and Associates. A registered landscape architect with over 6 years of experience, he received his master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Virginia, with a focus on urban design and theory. He has practiced in both Washington, DC and Tel Aviv, and has been involved in residential, commercial, and government work. Recent projects include City Center DC, a LEED certified, mixed use development with roof garden terraces in the heart of Washington; Building 202 at the South East Federal Center; and Lot 31 in downtown Bethesda. He has designed sustainable urban spaces, integrating low impact development stormwater management in streetscapes and designing green roofs. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Tauber worked on private residences in New York and Maryland, the Ridge Hill commercial center in New York, and two US embassies abroad. He has experience working in all phases of design, from master planning through construction documents and construction administration. When working on any project, Mr. Tauber brings his attention to detail, history, and context as well as his concern for public space and the social impact of design. |
