Bang Shon, RLA, ASLA
DESIGN PRINCIPAL
Bang Shon serves as a Design Principal with Lee and Associates, Inc (LAI). She has participated as both a designer and planner in land planning, landscape architecture, and urban design projects through all stages from conception to construction.
Her primary expertise in landscape, planning, and urban design projects are the implementation of sustainable ecosystems of a city and community. Prominent project management and landscape design projects are focused on LEED certified sustainable and low impact designs including CityCenterDC, Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital, and the 100 V Street Public Realm at Buzzard Point, DC. Recent work includes the 31-acre Wharf redevelopment that integrates public and private space to accommodate various traffic-uses and development parcels - including the 3.5-acre Waterfront Park and a mile of streetscape. Preserving and complementing their historical elements, as well as implementing low impact development to protect the area and clean stormwater was imperative to their designs.
