At the Potomac Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects annual Awards Gala, LAI was presented a Merit Award for the 8th Street Arts Park in the Social Impact category. A true collaborate effort, this project will stand to serve the Brookland/Edgewood communities - children and adults alike. Completed in conjunction with and for Dance Place, this park is activited with their specially and varied crafted programing.
Being an eventful evening, we also gave a tour of our other award winning project The University of the District of Columbia Student Center! Just look at that rain garden.
