Ribbon Cut on Newly Renovated Franklin Square Park

LAI was part of the design team tasked with developing the Children’s Garden. The goal was to provide a unique play space that sparks imagination and curiosity in children. The natural character of the Children’s Garden celebrates the history of DC’s geology, and offers sculptural and playful play features. Special features of the Children’s Garden include a stone amphitheater, an at-grade slide, a log balance structure, and a custom wooden nest. The play space also features seating opportunities and play experiences for all ages and abilities.
